so, some mix up has been involved in the creation of a second site after ten years of the old one – an attempt to multi-facet the thing is perhaps not the best way forward… and keeping it simple for the time being the better option.
a certain amount of confusion due t an earlier attempt makes it difficult to decide which one is the primary vehicle – but at this point it seems logical to use this blog to inform and report on & about current activities and projects; while trying to attempt a re-creation of the lost Gruzemayer site (2007-2018) with additional archive and links to related sites, blogs and projects.
Thinking it might be more practical to split up some of the activities over various sites, to avoid confusion and keep things in neat little compartments, something that Gruzemayer has never been good at, being all for the so-called ‘reinte®gration of art into life’ as stated during the first manifestation of “La Jeune Avrill” way back when…
Basically the other site (also a wordpress, so should be easy to switch between them) will be mainly a reboot of the old with more descriptive elements and without the technical details – though most will be copy pasted and the tenses might get mixed up.
This here bolt on the other hand will be a chronological listing of what’s up at that moment and can serve to a degree as reservoir or archive for future reference. Be aware though the Bureau Gruzemayer has a number of regular blogs (GruzeblogA and GruzemayerblogitB, as well as project-specific blogs and blogs related to places of work and combined efforts with other artists, groups and collectives…
this will al be clearer with an attempt a an overview in the next post…
